Connector Creation

Authorizing Box is straightforward. To authorize or add a Box account as a Connector, follow these simple steps:

  • Select Box from the Connector list in the Transfer Wizard.
  • Click Authorize a new Box account.
  • Name your Connector.
  • If you are not already logged in you can use either your Box credentials or a SSO account.
  • Click Authorize, and voila!

Troubleshooting

Authorization: If you're having trouble creating or adding a Box connector, here are some things to try:

  • Hover over your existing Box integration in the Connector selection screen and select Reauthorize. This will take you through the Connector creation steps again in order to refresh the token/permissions that Mover has with your Box account.
  • Logout of Box and any other services you may be in, and then try recreating the connector.
  • Open up private browsing or incognito mode and try again.

Transfer from Box source: If you're having trouble transferring from Box:

  • Hit Rerun in the Activity Logs tab.
  • View your transfer log from the Activity Logs tab and see if there are any particular error messages you could act on.

Transfer to Box destination: If you're having trouble transferring into Box:

  • Hit Rerun in the Activity Logs tab.
  • View your transfer log from the Activity Logs tab and see if there are any particular error messages you could act on.
  • Ensure you have enough storage space in Box to accommodate the data you're moving in.
  • Are you trying to move files into Box that are larger than what are allowed? Visit Box's pricing page to see the file size limits per account.
